All the flavor of the forest in a jar
Discover our range of wild and cultivated canned mushrooms from Vencerol, including Lactarius deliciosus, also known as Red pine mushroom.
This is a very common mushroom on the Iberian Peninsula, known by up to 10 different names depending on the region (rebollón in Aragon, chanterelle in Castilla y León, guíscano in Murcia and Albacete, Pinetell in Catalonia…). Its scientific name is Lactarius deliciosus and it couldn’t be more precise, as it is indeed delicious.
Lactarius deliciosus generally grows in pine forests and is picked in autumn. At Conservas Medrano, we separate the mushrooms by size to offer a very homogeneous product. Red pine mushrooms are very easy to cook and very tasty. They are delicious cooked with garlic or in omelets. Discover other, more exotic mushrooms such as shiitake or nameko, and last but not least, our most gourmet mushroom: porcini in oil from La Tudelana.
